This table refers mainly to the hill reservoirs in the east of the department. It also shows the other water bodies that would be closed exceptionally (works or atre). The Landes département has a total of 85 water bodies accessible for fishing.
Fishing and boating may be temporarily prohibited for the following reasons:
- CYANOBACTERIA: During occasional episodes of proliferation of Cyanobacteria, the owners of water bodies request, among other things, the suspension of fishing activity on a precautionary principle.
- CULOT PISCICOLE (specific to hill reservoirs): a minimum filling threshold has been defined to ensure fish survival – fishing is logically suspended when this threshold is reached.
- CULOT NAVIGATION (specific to hill reservoirs): a minimum threshold for navigation has been set by water body managers to ensure a fishing surface compatible with navigation.
- WORK: when repairing control structures or carrying out other work
- OTHER: special case
